Working with people of all ages, from all walks of life.

"I believe that a different therapy must be constructed for each patient because each has a unique story."
- Irvin D. Yalom

Life is hard, but you don’t have to go through it alone.

We all embark on the journey of life at the same starting point. We travel down the road before us, trying to carve out a path that will lead us to the kind of life that will bring us joy. However, there are times when that path leads us off the course of happiness and fulfillment, and into the unexpected.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed with grief and loss, stuck in the depths of depression and anxiety, or struggling with identity, self-esteem, and self-compassion, it is possible to climb out and get back on track.

Here at Bridgeview Psychotherapy you’re offered a non-judgemental space where you can explore your inner landscape, engage in collaborative problem solving, learn useful tools and strategies, and manage distressing emotions, thoughts, and behaviours. Together we can work to make sense of your past and shape your future.

If you're ready to get back on the path that leads to a more fulfilling life, then you've come to the right place. You’re meant to thrive, not just survive. If you’re ready to dive in, I’m here for you.

About Shannon Vokes

I provide individual psychotherapy to teens and adults both virtually and online.  My approach is informed by expressive arts therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, solution-focused therapy, and internal family systems.

I also provide in-person psychotherapy to children (4+), teens, and families.  My therapeutic interventions with children are primarily play and art based.  I also offer parent support sessions.

I am currently accepting new clients.

You're meant to thrive, not just survive.
